UK State Pension DEADLINE EXTENDED

State Pension DEADLINE EXTENDED

If you ever worked in the UK and have gaps in your National Insurance record, you can now pay voluntary contributions to help you qualify for the UK State Pension.

Currently if you’ve worked 3 years or more in UK/Northern Ireland, you may be entitled to claim a UK State Pension from age 67. The current UK State Pension, if you qualify for the full amount, is £203.85/week (£10,600 per year) and to qualify for the full UK state pension you need to have 35 years of National Insurance contributions paid.

However, you now have the opportunity to buy back up to 16 years pension rights at very little cost to increase your future UK State Pension. The good news is you now have until 5th April 2025 to pay voluntary contributions to make up for gaps since 2006.

If this is not relevant to you, feel free to forward this to anyone who would benefit from the information.

REMEMBER: If you have a private UK pension and you need help transferring it back to Ireland, you can contact me on 01 5267770 or 053 9110380 to find out how to do this.
